1st Day:
MARMARIS
The boarding starts at 15:30 from Marmaris Port. First day the service starts in the boat with diner. The overnight takes place in Marmaris Port. Marmaris which has been under the governorship of so many different nationalities has been built upon the antique Karian city; Phyckos.
The most valuable work-piece that you will see today is Marmaris Castle coming from 1577.
There is also a mosque from Ottomans and an 8-room caravansaray covered with arches.
The ruins of the Antique times lies on Asar Hill; a short hill located on the northern side of the city.
Marmaris is one of the best-known touristic places of Turkey; has at
the same time got a large marina.
2nd Day:
MARMARIS - ARABIAN ISLAND - BOZUKKALE After breakfast we will hoist sail to Arabian Peninsula. After lunch and a swimming break sailing to Bozukkale.
Dinner and overnight in Bozukkale. Loryma( Bozukkent); the historical city was the center of Rhodes peraia in the
X century B.C.has a castle with 9 temples and parallel walls to each other.
The name Bozukkale means 'crooked castle' and is given to the castle as its one side is missing.
Because of its geographical situation and the narrowness of its ports' entrance this port has been used used by the Greek navy forces during Pelepones Sea Wars.
Karor, the General of Atina before the Cnidus War has gathered all his ships here in 395 B.C., whereas; Demetrios; the son of Antigonos in 305 B.C. has chosen this port for the preparations before attacking to Rhodes.
3rd Day:
BOZUKKALE - DIRSEKBUKU
- BOZBURUN We will turn our way to dirsekbuku after breakfast. After docking in dirsekbükü we will going to bozburun. Bozburun is a small fishing town.
This area was popular and suitable for sponge-diving but nowadays the people of the island are no more interested in sponge-diving as it is not worthy and is dangerous.
In recent years sponge-diving is replaced by gulet tourism and Bozburun Gulets nowadays could take its place in this sector.
4th
Day:
BOZBURUN - AKTUR -
BENCIK The sailing goes on with Aktur after breakfast.
Right after serving lunch we will go on sail on the northern side of the gulf.
Our first stop will Bencik Bay; which has a very narrow entrance but a unique view when you get inside.
Bencik is located at the narrowest part of the peninsula that divides Hisaronu Gulf from the Gokova Gulf but closer to Hisaronu.
The Persians came to Datca Peninsula in 550s B.C. with Carian governor Harpagos leading them.
The Cnidus people who got the news that Harpagos is coming to conquer their city wanted to
unite the both gulf by digging a tunnel between to make two peninsulas one island and; the defense easier but they could not manage it the city finally was conquered by the
Persians.
We will going to Datca after. The dinner and overnight will
be in Datca.
5th Day:
BENCIK - SYMI The captain will finish All paper works and formalities before boat lives for the first stop to Greek
Island Symi. We will arrive to the Monastry of Panormitis located in the southern part of Simi.
After visiting the Monastry and the museum of this quiet and peaceful coast we will take swimming break at noon time and will arrive to Simi port in the evening.
You can see the shore-side with its neo-classical houses and the inner streets.
The island presents magnificents natural beauties for those nature-lovers and hikers.
The island from the north to the south is 13 kms. and from the west to east is 8 kms. long,
total area is 68 square kilometer. You will love Simi with its pine and oak forests and unique bays.
6th
Day:
SYIMI -
RHODES We will sail to Rhodes
Island early in the morning.
Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese islands.
The island is a very popular holiday place as it has one of the best-protected and the largest European Medieval city and has warm weather almost 300 days of a year.
Rhodes Island has been a home for many civilizations; starting with the
Knights of St. John in the Medieval
period, then Ottomans and Italians...
thus the island has one of the unique historical harmonies and the beauties of these three.
The main port Rhodes Island is the Rhodes City that has the same name with the island.
Rhodes city is divided into two main areas: the new town and the old town.
One of the most beautiful beaches of the island is in the new town.
The other very touristic areas of Rhodes island
are Lyndos and Kamiros. The city, which is still surrounded with 12
m. thick city-walls gives you the feeling of traveling back to Medieval
period espeacially when you walk around its narrow stone roads. After dinner our guests are highly recommended to enjoy a Rhodes night out.
7th Day:
RHODOS -
MARMARIS The captain will finish All paper works and formalities before boats live from Rhodes. We are going to
Marmaris. When we join to Turkish water,
Captain will finish customes formalities. We are staying at Bay near marmaris For Swimming and Lunch break. Dinner and Overnighting at Marmaris Harbour.
8th Day:
After the breakfast our guests will be disembarking the boat till 10:30a.m.
